The Grapat Perpetual Calendar is an annual, reusable calendar designed to help children understand the passage of time through touch, movement and everyday experience.

The calendar includes 12 Nins® in 12 different colours, inspired by Waldorf pedagogy, with each colour representing a month and its corresponding season. Two wooden number cubes can be changed each day to display the date, while the circular platform is divided into four sections representing the seasons and is printed with the months of the year in English.

Rather than time being an abstract concept, children can physically interact with the calendar each day — changing the date, moving through the months and observing how the seasons form a repeating yearly rhythm.
